Bulls Say, Bears Say
Bulls Say
Diversified Ecosystem GrowthGrowth in installment e-commerce, offline inclusive finance and fintech empowerment reduces reliance on traditional online lending. A broader ecosystem can improve customer monetization and make revenue more resilient across changing credit conditions.
Improving Credit QualityImproving delinquency, early-stage repayment and collection metrics support more sustainable lending economics. Together with 258% coverage and conservative provisioning, these trends may reduce future credit losses and strengthen risk-adjusted profitability.
Stronger Cash Flow And LeverageThe 2025 rebound in operating and free cash flow, alongside materially lower leverage, improves financial flexibility. This supports ongoing technology and customer investments while providing greater capacity to absorb credit-cycle volatility than in prior years.
Bears Say
Online Lending ContractionThe core online consumer finance business remains under pressure from weaker volume and pricing. Continued contraction could weigh on fee income and limit overall growth, particularly because newer ecosystem businesses may take time to offset the decline.
Elevated Costs And Credit ChargesHigher sales, marketing and service-infrastructure spending can compress operating leverage if revenue growth remains muted. Credit costs also remain substantial, creating an ongoing risk that investments and provisioning will restrain earnings conversion.
Regulatory And Liquidity UncertaintyRegulatory requirements and macroeconomic conditions can affect loan origination, funding access, pricing and permissible fintech services. The moderate cash position may also constrain flexibility for investment or loss absorption if conditions deteriorate.

The call highlights a clear and constructive transition toward a more diversified, ecosystem-driven business model with strong user growth, meaningful loan volume expansion, improvements in risk indicators, and rising contribution from fintech empowerment and installment e-commerce. These positives offset near-term headwinds in the traditional online consumer finance segment, a modest sequential decline in net income, higher operating expenses and lingering macro/regulatory uncertainty.
