Grupo México, S.A.B. de C.V. is a diversified entity engaged globally in copper production, freight logistics, and infrastructure development. The company's operations are divided into three core segments. Its Mining division focuses on the exploration and extraction of a variety of metals, including copper, silver, molybdenum, zinc, gold, and selenium, as well as sulfuric acid. This segment oversees 15 active underground and open-pit mines, along with 8 exploration ventures, spanning Mexico, Peru, the United States, Argentina, Chile, Ecuador, and Spain. The Transportation division offers a full spectrum of railway services, encompassing general freight hauling, intermodal transport, and passenger services. It also manages auxiliary terminal operations and intra-terminal logistics. With an expansive rail network stretching 11,131 km across 24 Mexican states, this division caters to numerous sectors such as agriculture, automotive, cement, energy, intermodal, metals and minerals, industrial products, and chemicals and fertilizers. The Infrastructure division provides specialized land and ocean drilling services, alongside engineering expertise. Furthermore, it generates electricity through a combined cycle power plant and a wind farm, and is responsible for the construction and operation of the Salamanca-León highway and the Silao Bypass.
