Today’s movement comes after several days of gains for the major stock indices. That saw the Dow close yesterday at an all-time high, while the S&P 500 saw a slight boost, and the Nasdaq 100 slipped slightly. Yesterday’s movement was largely tied to earnings reports, including strong results from Coca-Cola (KO) and 3M (MMM).
Turning to trending stocks, Netflix (NFLX) and GE Vernova (GEV) have both seen significant movement this morning following the release of their latest earnings reports. Investors were also interested in a possible deal between Paramount Skydance (PSKY) and Warner Bros. Discovery (WBD). Finally, investors are awaiting Tesla’s (TSLA) Q3 earnings report, which will be released after the closing bell today.
