Google plans to cut 240 jobs from its Irish business, a move which follows the company’s January announcement that parent Alphabet would shed 12,000 jobs globally, The Irish Times’ Ciara O’Brien reports. The cuts will come from sales, where 85 jobs are going, along with 80 from tech and engineering and 75 from support functions, according to the report. Reference Link
