Its banking operations involve accepting various deposit types, such as demand, savings, and term accounts. The company also offers a comprehensive suite of lending products, including real estate financing like mortgages and construction loans, commercial and financial credit, agricultural loans, and a range of personal consumer loans for vehicles, installments, and other purposes. Beyond core banking, Hills Bancorporation maintains convenient amenities like night deposit boxes and safe deposit facilities, alongside providing collection, exchange, and other financial services. Furthermore, the company delivers extensive trust and wealth management services. This includes administering estates, personal trusts, and pension plans, as well as offering farm management, investment advisory, and custodial solutions for individuals, corporations, and nonprofit entities. It also originates residential mortgages that are then sold in the secondary market, without retaining the mortgage servicing rights.
