Uber plans to cut 200 people from its recruiting team, about 35% of the team but less than 1% of total staff, The Wall Street Journal’s Preetika Rana reports. Previous cuts in Uber‘s freight unit and food-delivery operations overseas, combined with the recruiting layoffs, collectively account for less than 3% of Uber staff, the report notes.
