Shopify (SHOP) President Harley Finkelstein says the company’s Audiences marketing tool, which uploads customer data to Meta (META) and Google’s (GOOGL) ad platforms, is a key focus for the company, The Financial Times’ Tim Bradshaw reports. The system is designed to skirt Apple’s (AAPL) rules against tracking iPhone users and compete with Amazon’s (AMZN) ads business.
