Stifel analyst Chris O’Cull raised the firm’s price target on Restaurant Brands to $72 from $65 and keeps a Hold rating on the shares after the company reported better-than-expected comp sales results "across the board," including particular accelerations at Tim Hortons and Burger King. Sales also accelerated sequentially at Burger King and while the firm is encouraged by the brand’s progress, successfully turning the corner on traffic will "become increasingly important as pricing moderates," the analyst tells investors.
