Microsoft moves Activision execs under Xbox leadership, Verge says

Activision Blizzard CEO Bobby Kotick will exit his position on December 29, and instead of appointing a direct replacement, Microsoft has rolled the suite of various executives at the “Call of Duty” publisher, including Blizzard president Mike Ybarra, Activision publishing president Rob Kostich, and Activision Blizzard vice chair Thomas Tippl under Microsoft’s game content and studios president Matt Booty, The Verge’s Tom Warren and Ash Parrish report, citing an internal memo. In addition, Activision Blizzard’s CAO Brian Bulatao, CPO Julie Hodges, CLO Grant Dixton, and CFO Armin Zerza will report to their Microsoft Gaming equivalents, the authors note.
