A jury in Illinois has concluded that Amazon.com’s AWS owes tech firm Kove $525M due to patent rights violation in data-storage technology dispute, ruling that AWS infringed on three Kove patents, Reuters’ Blake Brittain reports. A spokesperson with Amazon said the company disagrees with the verdict and intends to appeal, the report noted.
