Ford weighs cutting shift at F-150 Lightning factory, WSJ says

Ford is weighing cutting a work shift at the factory where it makes its electric F-150 Lightning pickup as demand for the vehicle falters, the Wall Street Journal’s Nora Eckert reports, citing a memo from a United Auto Workers official. In a letter dated Tuesday, the car maker said it was mulling canceling the shift and indicated that it was eyeing building more gas-engine trucks instead, the author notes.
