United Auto Workers staff at Ford’s Louisville assembly and Kentucky truck facilities have voted in opposition of a proposed four-and-a-half year agreement, while the skilled trade workers voted in favor of the contract, Reuters reports. The UAW Local 862 union said that 55% of production staff voted against ratifying the deal, while 69% of the skilled trades workers voted for the contract, the report notes.
