Ford battery partner considers Korea expansion, Bloomberg reports

Ecopro Group, a battery materials maker that supplies Ford (F) and Samsung SDI (SSNLF), is planning to boost its manufacturing presence in South Korea, after guidance last week clarified provisions around the U.S.’s landmark climate bill, Bloomberg’s Heejin Kim reports. According to people familiar with the matter, Ecopro, which already has a 5.3 million-square-foot site in Pohang, is considering another site of around 7 million square feet. Reference Link
