Ford’s product development chief Jim Baumbick said that the car maker intends to make "dramatic reductions" in the complexity of its product lineup beginning with the 2024 model year, Reuters’ Joe White reports, citing comments at a conference hosted by Bank of America. Meanwhile, Baumbick noted that the company plans to develop more variations of certain model lines, such as the Bronco SUV, since they offer 30% or greater profit margins compared to the base model, the author says.
