Disney’s (DIS) $1.5B investment in “Fortnite” maker Epic Games has brought the video game company’s valuation to $22.5B, The Information’s Cory Weinberg reports. The price is roughly a 29% drop from where investors last valued Epic just under two years ago, Weinberg notes. The investment will give the media giant a 9% interest in Epic, the author says. Other notable investors in Epic include Tencent (TCEHY), KKR (KKR), and Sony (SONY).
