China plans to broaden ban of Apple iPhones, Bloomberg reports

China plans to expand its ban on Apple’s iPhones in sensitive departments to government agencies and state companies, Bloomberg’s Jenny Leonard and Debby Wu report. According to people familiar with the matter, several agencies have begun instructing staff not to bring their iPhones to work, and Beijing plans to extend that restriction more broadly to other state-owned enterprises and other government-controlled organizations.
