Amazon (AMZN) is working on new conversational AI software as it aims to catch up to Microsoft-backed (MSFT) OpenAI in selling such software to enterprise customers, The Information’s Anissa Gardizy reports, citing a person with direct knowledge. The ecommerce giant’s new large language model, codenamed Olympus, may also power new features in its online retail store, Alexa voice assistant on Amazon devices, and its Amazon Web Services business, the author notes.
