Amazon (AMZN) has had early discussions with Disney (DIS) about working on the streaming version of ESPN it is working on, The Information’s Sahil Patel reports, citing people familiar with the matter. The ecommerce giant could offer the service through one of its streaming platforms, helping to expand its distribution, while potentially also acquiring a minority interest in ESPN, the author notes.
