SmartestEnergy Australia has secured a long-term Power Purchase Agreement with Metis Energy for the Gunsynd Solar Farm in Queensland, anticipated to produce over 250 GWh annually, powering 32,000 homes and reducing carbon emissions significantly. The project, now underway, promises local job creation and economic growth, marking a key milestone in Queensland’s sustainable energy transition. Metis Energy will leverage this project, a pivotal component of their Australian renewable portfolio, to advance further into integrated renewable projects, including the Bendemeer Renewable Hub.
