Afya Limited, a leading Brazilian medical education group, has announced the resignation of Mrs. Shobhna Mohn from its Board of Directors effective June 30, 2024. Mrs. Mohn’s departure, following her step down from Bertelsmann, a key shareholder of Afya, is not related to any company issues. Afya confirms that Bertelsmann has no immediate plans to replace her on the board, emphasizing the company’s focus on a strong, skilled board to ensure ongoing success.
