Operating through distinct Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) and Independent Aftermarket divisions, the company, which rebranded from Westport Innovations Inc. in June 2016, provides a diverse array of solutions. These offerings encompass systems and components designed for a range of alternative fuels, including liquefied petroleum gas (LPG), compressed natural gas (CNG), liquefied natural gas (LNG), renewable natural gas (RNG), and hydrogen. The company also provides support for light- and heavy-duty OEMs, delayed OEMs, as well as expertise in electronics, hydrogen technologies, and fuel storage solutions. A key product is the Westport High Pressure Direct Injection (HPDI) 2.0 system. This fully integrated fuel technology allows diesel engines to predominantly operate on natural gas, delivering comparable power, torque, and fuel economy to traditional compression-ignition diesel engines while effectively reducing greenhouse gas emissions. Westport's innovations serve a wide array of applications, from passenger cars to light-, medium-, and heavy-duty trucks, as well as cryogenics and hydrogen systems. Its extensive portfolio is marketed under recognized brands such as Cummins Westport, BRC Gas Equipment, Westport, OMVL, Prins, GFi Control systems, Emer, Zavoli, TA Gas Technology, Valtek, and AFS.
