Telecom Argentina S.A., operating through its subsidiaries, provides a wide array of telecommunication services across Argentina and internationally. The company's offerings include comprehensive fixed-line telephone services, covering local, domestic, and international long-distance calls, as well as public telephone facilities. Complementing these are various supplementary services like call waiting, call forwarding, conference calling, caller identification, voicemail, itemized billing, and ongoing maintenance. It also serves as a crucial provider of interconnection services, facilitating network traffic and resource sharing. This encompasses dedicated internet access, transportation of video signals in both standard and high definitions, audio and video streaming capabilities, specialized network links (including backhaul for mobile operators), and data center hosting/colocation services. Further offerings in this segment include Layer 2 and Layer 3 transport networks, dedicated video links, and a range of other value-added services. Mobile telecommunications represent another core segment, featuring voice communications, high-speed mobile internet for content and application downloads, and online streaming. Under its "Personal" brand, the company also retails mobile communication devices, such as smartphones, MiFi and wingle modems, and smartwatches. Moreover, Telecom Argentina supplies various internet connectivity products, including virtual private network (VPN) services and traditional Internet Protocol (IP) links, alongside comprehensive data services. Its entertainment division delivers programming and other cable television services. The company, founded in 1979 in Buenos Aires, Argentina, was formerly known as Cablevisión S.A. and adopted its current name, Telecom Argentina S.A., in January 2018.
