Polished.com Inc. operated as a U.S.-based e-commerce platform, providing a vast selection of appliances, furniture, and home goods. Their extensive product catalog included a full range of major household appliances like refrigerators, ovens, dishwashers, and laundry units, alongside furniture, home decor, bedding, lighting, outdoor living items, electronics, fitness equipment, plumbing fixtures, and various climate control devices such as air conditioners, fans, and air purifiers. Complementing its product sales, the company also offered services like appliance installation and the removal of old units. Originally established in 1951 and headquartered in Brooklyn, New York, the business was known as 1847 Goedeker Inc. until its rebranding to Polished.com Inc. in July 2022. However, the company's operations were significantly impacted, as Polished.com Inc. and its affiliates formally initiated Chapter 7 liquidation proceedings in the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the District of Delaware on March 7, 2024.
