Zaklady Magnezytowe ROPCZYCE S.A., established in 1971 and headquartered in Warsaw, Poland, is a manufacturer and international supplier of essential and high-temperature refractory materials. The company's extensive portfolio includes a wide array of pre-formed (shaped) refractories. Among its burned shaped products are magnesia, magnesia-chrome, magnesia-spinel (with and without ZrO2 additions), magnesia-zirconia, forsterite, zirconia, alumina-chrome, nitride-bonded alumina, silica, aluminosilicate, and alumina refractories. Unburned shaped refractories offered encompass magnesia-graphite, magnesia-carbon, alumina-magnesia-carbon, magnesia-spinel-graphite, magnesia-chrome, alumina-graphite, and aluminosilicate types. Additionally, the firm provides precast shapes crafted from low-cement alumina-spinel, spinel, basic, and aluminosilicate castables. For furnace installations, ROPCZYCE supplies unshaped refractories designed for various functions, such as mortars, construction and patching mixes, and protective coatings. Its specialized refractory offerings include gas-purging components, RH snorkels, monolithic roofs for electric arc furnaces, Maerz Kiln monolithic pillars, and various tapping sets for electric arc furnaces, oxygen converters, steel ladles, and metering tapping sets for tundishes. The company serves a diverse range of industries, including iron and steel production, non-ferrous metal processing, glass manufacturing, cement and lime production, coke production, and foundries.
