CEN Earnings Call
Q4 2026
0:00 / 0:00
Earnings Call Sentiment|Positive
The call was broadly positive: management reported strong first‑half execution and financial results driven by the Manawa acquisition and renewable investments (EBITDAF +24%, NPAT +44%), significant progress on synergies, robust cash flow, and a large development pipeline with detailed use of proceeds for a $525 million equity raise to accelerate projects. Challenges were acknowledged including retail margin pressure (retail EBITDAF loss $25M), material network and energy cost inflation (~$79M), operating cost increases from the acquisition, gas production declines (~16% in Q1), and timing‑related working capital outflows. Overall the positives (scale, lower portfolio risk, renewable transition, captured synergies, upgraded guidance and funded pipeline acceleration) outweigh the headwinds.View all NZ:CEN earnings summariesCEN Stock 12 Month Forecast
