The company's operations are divided into two main segments: Contract Manufacturing Organization (CMO) and Contract Development Organization (CDO). Its CDO services cover areas such as cell line development, optimization of upstream and downstream processes, and the formulation of analytical methods and final products. For CMO, the company offers aseptic filling, lyophilization, finishing, storage, shipping, and various associated support services. Additionally, it delivers comprehensive quality assurance, quality control, biosafety, and analytical testing. Samsung Biologics is also involved in creating and launching biosimilar drugs, alongside manufacturing mammalian cell-based antibody medications.
