KEC Holdings Co., Ltd., along with its various subsidiaries, is engaged in the global and domestic South Korean production and distribution of semiconductor products. The company's offerings feature a range of semiconductor components, including transistors, diodes, integrated circuits (ICs), and metal-oxide-semiconductors (MOS). In addition to its core manufacturing, the firm's operations span several other sectors: the sale of semiconductors and video equipment, specialized packaging and testing for semiconductors, real estate development and leasing, international trade and agency services, as well as providing management and other consulting, technology research and development (R&D), and technical information services. Founded in 1969, the company was initially named KOREA ELECTRONICS CO., LTD. before officially changing to KEC Holdings Co., Ltd. in September 2006, and its headquarters are situated in Seoul, South Korea.
