Bulls Say, Bears Say
Bulls Say
Revenue ReboundA ~51% revenue rebound in 2025 indicates renewed demand or successful commercial recovery. Sustained top-line recovery enhances scale, helps spread fixed costs, and provides a platform for restoring operating leverage if management sustains higher volumes or contract wins over the next several quarters.
Improved Capital StructureMaterial deleveraging from crisis-era levels to ~1.7x D/E materially improves financial flexibility. Lower leverage reduces refinancing and interest burden, increasing resilience to cash flow volatility and creating scope for disciplined reinvestment or targeted deleveraging over the medium term.
Stabilized ROE And Net MarginsStabilized ROE (~6%) and modest net margins reflect improving bottom-line outcomes despite operating headwinds. This suggests the group can generate shareholder returns after non-operating items, supporting gradual balance-sheet repair and signaling potential for profit quality improvements if operating efficiencies follow the revenue recovery.
Bears Say
Weak Operating ProfitabilityPersistent negative EBIT and a slightly negative 2025 gross margin show the company struggles to convert sales into operating profit. This structural operating weakness limits internal funding for capex and growth, risks long-term margin erosion, and forces reliance on non-operating gains or cost cuts to report net profits.
Poor Cash GenerationThe swing to negative operating cash flow in 2025 and consecutive negative free cash flow reduce the company's ability to service debt, fund maintenance or growth capex, and rebuild liquidity. Persistent cash burn elevates refinancing risk and undermines confidence in reported earnings sustainability.
Still Elevated Leverage For Operating RiskAlthough improved, ~1.7x D/E remains high for a company with recurring operating losses. Elevated leverage increases fixed interest obligations, reduces strategic flexibility, and magnifies vulnerability to rate moves or demand shocks, limiting ability to invest or absorb further cash-flow volatility without external funding.
