Bulls Say, Bears Say
Bulls Say
Strong Revenue GrowthSustained top-line expansion indicates continued project wins and execution demand across the construction and engineering portfolio. If maintained, this growth can improve operating scale and provide a broader base for future margin recovery.
Cash Flow ReboundThe return to positive operating and free cash flow is an important stabilizing development after several weak years. It suggests project cash conversion improved in 2026, although consistency must still be demonstrated before this becomes a durable strength.
Established Contracting PlatformA sizable workforce and participation in both public- and private-sector projects provide an established delivery platform and customer reach. This business breadth can support recurring tender opportunities and reduce reliance on a single project or client category.
Bears Say
Persistent Profitability DeteriorationBack-to-back losses and negative operating margins indicate that revenue growth is not currently translating into earnings. In construction, continued losses can weaken retained capital and constrain the company’s ability to fund new projects or absorb cost overruns.
Sharp Leverage IncreaseThe rapid increase in debt relative to declining equity materially reduces financial flexibility. Higher leverage leaves less capacity to withstand project delays, cost inflation or further losses, while increasing dependence on stable cash generation and continued financing access.
Volatile Cash ConversionSeveral years of negative operating and free cash flow show that reported project revenue has not consistently converted into usable cash. The 2026 rebound is encouraging, but weak debt coverage means liquidity remains vulnerable if working capital or project timing deteriorates.
