Imperial Brands (IMB.L): Updating our estimates post FY23 results 16 November 2023 | 7:50PM GMT Imperial Brands reported FY23 results (here). Overall we have trimmed our FY24/25e EPS estimates by -2%, which is mainly due to higher finance cost, FX and less accretion from share buybacks (as a result of marking to market latest share price), and a lower FY23 base. Those drivers more than offset slightly stronger organic EBIT growth (we now assume +4.5% vs +3.8% previously for FY24e). Despite modest earning downgrades, we nudge up our price target to 2,300p (from 2,280p previously) as we roll forward our DCF and P/E valuation methodologies. We remain Buy rated.
