Bulls Say, Bears Say
Bulls Say
Production GrowthSustained, material production growth increases revenue capacity and spreads fixed costs over higher volumes. A 36% y/y output gain supports durable scale advantages, improves unit economics if maintained, and underpins funding for reinvestment and reserve conversion over the next several quarters.
Operating Cash Flow RecoveryA large, persistent increase in mine operating cash flow strengthens internal funding for capex and working capital, reducing reliance on external financing. Durable cash generation helps fund growth projects, supports balance-sheet resilience, and enables strategic capital allocation over the medium term.
Processing Capacity ExpansionHigher processing throughput at Kolpa creates structural capacity to sustain higher production and lower per-tonne costs. Upgraded crushing and milling, plus related infrastructure, are long-lived assets that should enable multi-year production upside and better conversion of resources to cash flows.
Bears Say
Rising AISCSubstantially higher AISC materially compresses margin resilience and increases metal-price sensitivity. When sustaining costs rise due to royalties, purchased ore and taxes, profitability becomes more volatile and long-term margin sustainability is impaired unless unit costs are reined in.
Negative Free Cash FlowPersistent negative free cash flow limits organic funding for growth and forces dependence on cash reserves or external capital. Even with improving operating cash, ongoing capex and investments keep FCF negative, constraining flexibility to execute large projects without raising capital.
Pitarrilla Permitting & CapEx RiskPitarrilla requires ~$500–$600M capex and key permits; delays or permit denial would push timelines and increase financing needs. This structural execution and permitting risk can materially alter the company’s growth trajectory and capital allocation for multiple years.

Q2 2026
0:00 / 0:00
Earnings Call Sentiment|Positive
The call emphasized strong operational momentum (notably large production gains, record revenue, a 300% increase in mine operating cash flow and a healthy cash position plus expected VAT recovery) and material project progress (Kolpa expansion, Terronera ramp-up, Pitarrilla feasibility). Offsetting items include significantly higher AISC and per‑tonne costs due to higher metal prices, purchased ore, royalties and currency/inflation pressure, plus incremental capital brought forward and some permitting/timing risk on Pitarrilla. On balance the positive operational and financial improvements materially outweigh the cost and timing headwinds, while management is investing to secure long-term capacity and growth.View all GB:0R2C earnings summaries0R2C Stock 12 Month Forecast
