Bulls Say, Bears Say
Bulls Say
Revenue RecoveryThe renewed top-line expansion indicates recovering demand across tourism and travel activities. Sustained revenue growth can improve operating leverage and provide a stronger base for restoring consistent profitability as visitor volumes and tourism consumption normalize.
Improved Operating Cash FlowPositive operating cash flow over three consecutive years suggests the core businesses are again generating cash from operations. This supports ongoing operations and reduces reliance on external funding, even though investment and working-capital needs still constrain free cash flow.
Manageable LeverageModest leverage provides financial flexibility for a cyclical leisure and tourism business. A relatively light debt burden can help the company withstand fluctuations in travel demand and retain capacity to invest in destinations, transportation and service platforms.
Bears Say
Unstable ProfitabilityThe return to a net loss after modest profits in 2023–2024 shows that earnings remain highly sensitive to operating and non-operating factors. This volatility weakens earnings quality and makes it harder to fund growth or reliably return capital to shareholders.
Weak Free Cash Flow ConversionLimited conversion of operating cash into free cash flow indicates continuing cash absorption from investment or working capital. This reduces financial flexibility and may restrict the company’s ability to expand assets, service obligations or sustain distributions.
Shrinking Asset And Equity BaseA declining asset and equity base, combined with higher debt and negative returns, signals weaker value creation and a smaller balance-sheet cushion. Even with modest leverage, this trend could limit resilience and reduce capacity to absorb prolonged tourism-sector volatility.
