Bulls Say, Bears Say

Bulls Say
Copper And Gold Exploration FocusA defined focus on copper and gold gives Hammer a clear exploration mandate and aligns its technical work with established base- and precious-metal markets. Mapping, sampling, geophysics and drilling provide a structured pathway for testing and advancing project opportunities over time.
Low Financial LeverageVery low leverage limits balance-sheet financial risk and reduces the burden of debt servicing while Hammer remains exploration-stage. This provides greater flexibility to allocate available capital toward exploration and project advancement rather than meeting substantial borrowing costs.
Substantial Equity Funding BaseThe sizeable equity base relative to debt gives Hammer a financial cushion as it works to advance its projects. That cushion can support continued exploration and improve resilience during periods when operating activities do not yet generate meaningful revenue.
Bears Say
No Operating RevenueThe absence of operating revenue confirms that Hammer has not yet reached a scaled commercial phase. Without recurring sales, the company’s ability to fund exploration and create shareholder value depends on discoveries, asset transactions or continued access to external capital.
Recurring Operating LossesPersistent operating losses indicate that current activities are consuming value rather than generating self-sustaining earnings. The sharp 2024 profit also appears unsupported by positive EBITDA, making earnings less dependable and reducing visibility on a durable path to profitability.
Persistent Cash Burn And Funding RelianceConsistently negative operating and free cash flow means Hammer is not funding exploration from internal operations. Continued cash burn increases reliance on external funding, and the balance-sheet review notes that ongoing losses may create future dilution risk for shareholders.
