Bulls Say, Bears Say
Bulls Say
Revenue GrowthSustained revenue recovery from the pandemic era, with 2025 about 5% above 2024, indicates enduring demand restoration and pricing/volume resilience. This trend supports multi-year planning, capacity utilization, and reinvestment in assets across both resort and park segments.
Margin SustainabilityStrong and stable operating profitability (EBITDA ~28–29%) provides a durable earnings buffer against cyclical downturns. High operating margins support funding of maintenance capex and seasonal losses, improving the company's ability to preserve cash flow through varying tourism cycles.
Diversified Year‑Round ModelA mixed portfolio of ski domains and leisure parks creates complementary seasonality and multiple revenue streams (lift passes, admissions, on-site spend). This structural diversification reduces single-season dependence and supports more stable annual cash generation and visitor mix management.
Bears Say
Rising LeverageMaterial debt increases through 2024–2025 elevate financial leverage, reducing flexibility to absorb demand shocks or fund capex internally. For a cyclical leisure operator, higher leverage increases refinancing and interest risk and constrains strategic options during weaker seasons.
Weaker Free Cash FlowSignificantly weaker 2025 free cash flow and modest cash conversion relative to earnings limit ability to deleverage or finance growth internally. Persistent capex or working capital swings could force reliance on external funding, raising long-term cost of capital and operational vulnerability.
Cyclicality & Weather ExposureCore revenues depend on discretionary tourism and weather-dependent ski conditions, creating structural volatility in volumes and cash flow. Climate variability and seasonal concentration maintain downside risk to occupancy, pricing power, and predictability of multi-year revenue streams.
