Bulls Say, Bears Say
Bulls Say
Narrower Net LossesThe substantial reduction in annual net losses suggests some progress in cost control and operating discipline. Although profitability remains distant, continued loss reduction could extend the company’s financial runway and support a future path toward sustainable economics.
Positive Equity And Lower DebtPositive shareholders’ equity and reduced debt provide a more stable capital base than in earlier periods, when equity was negative and leverage was extreme. This improves financial flexibility, although continuing losses could erode that support.
Improving Cash BurnThe reduction in operating and free cash outflows indicates progress in controlling cash consumption. While the company remains dependent on external funding, a sustained improvement in burn rates would lengthen liquidity runway and reduce financing pressure.
Bears Say
Minimal Commercial RevenueThe absence of meaningful revenue shows that the business has not yet established a commercial earnings base. This limits internal funding capacity, increases dependence on financing or partnerships, and leaves future value highly dependent on successful product development and commercialization.
Persistent Large LossesSustained large losses, together with negative gross profit in 2025, indicate that profitability has not yet demonstrated a durable inflection. Continued losses can erode equity, constrain investment capacity, and raise the amount of capital needed before products generate returns.
Negative Operating And Free Cash FlowPersistent negative operating and free cash flow means the company is not self-funding its activities. Unless revenue or margins improve materially, it will likely need external capital or balance-sheet resources to maintain operations, creating ongoing funding and dilution risk.

Company Description
TYK Medicines, Inc. Class H
TYK Medicines, Inc. is a biopharmaceutical firm in the clinical development phase, dedicated to identifying, obtaining, advancing, and bringing to market innovative treatments for significant unmet needs in oncology. The company's primary drug candidate, TY-9591, is a third-generation epidermal growth factor receptor (EGFR) tyrosine kinase inhibitor (TKI). It is being developed to treat non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC) with EGFR mutations that has metastasized to the brain, as well as locally advanced or metastatic NSCLC characterized by the EGFR L858R mutation. Beyond its lead candidate, TYK Medicines maintains a diverse pipeline of other investigational therapies. These include TY-302, an oral cyclin-dependent kinase (CDK) 4/6 inhibitor designed for solid tumors such as breast and prostate cancer. Another compound, TY-2136b, is an oral ROS proto-oncogene 1/neurotrophic tyrosine receptor kinase inhibitor also aimed at solid tumors. The company is advancing TY-2699a, a selective CDK7 inhibitor, and TY-0540, a selective CDK2/4/6 inhibitor, both targeting advanced or metastatic solid malignancies. Further, the pipeline features TY-4028, an oral exon 20 insertion tyrosine kinase inhibitor (TKI) specifically addressing locally advanced or metastatic non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC) with EGFR exon 20 or HER2 exon 20 insertions. TY-1091 is a potent and selective rearranged during transfection proto-oncogene (RET) inhibitor, under development for advanced NSCLC with RET gene fusion, advanced medullary thyroid cancer with RET gene mutation, and other solid tumors presenting RET gene alterations. Other promising programs include TY-1054, an oral yes-associated protein-transcriptional enhanced associate domain inhibitor for various cancers; TY-1210, a selective CDK2 inhibitor for solid tumors; TY-0609, a selective CDK4 inhibitor also for cancer therapy; and TY-3200, an innovative EGFR degrader. Established in 2017, the enterprise operates from its main office located in Huzhou, China.
