Bulls Say, Bears Say
Bulls Say
Strong Cash GenerationConsistent, sizable operating cash flow and a sharp FCF improvement to ~€454M in 2025 show the business can internally fund capex, support launches and dividends, and service debt. Durable cash conversion reduces reliance on external financing across cycles.
Sustained Return To ProfitabilityReturn to positive net income and mid-single-digit operating margins reflect operational stabilization after 2020. Persistent profitability supports reinvestment in product programs and tooling and underpins long-term ability to capture program economics despite auto cyclicality.
Positive ROE And Equity GrowthGradual equity growth and mid-single-digit ROE indicate management is generating positive returns on shareholder capital. This trend improves balance-sheet resilience over time and can help absorb cyclical swings without immediate capital raises.
Bears Say
Thin Net MarginsA net margin near 1.8% gives very limited buffer against raw material, energy or logistics cost shocks and customer price pressure. Structurally thin profitability reduces cash flow sensitivity and increases the probability that small volume or cost shifts harm earnings and FCF.
Elevated Leverage For Cyclical SupplierDebt-to-equity above 1.0 raises refinancing and liquidity risk in a sector with volatile volumes. Higher fixed obligations amplify earnings volatility and constrain strategic flexibility (R&D, capex, M&A) if demand weakens or margins compress over the medium term.
Cooling Revenue TrendRecent revenue decline and negative short-term growth indicate weaker end-market or program mix issues. For an OEM supplier, slower volumes limit operating leverage and make it harder to improve margins and cover fixed costs over the next several quarters.
