YouTube is reorganizing its leadership team, with three product teams reporting to CEO Neal Mohan, and is commencing a “voluntary exit program” for U.S. staff, Alex Heath of Sources writes. “Looking to the future, the next frontier for YouTube is AI, which has the potential to transform every part of the platform,” Mohan said in an internal memo. “We need to set ourselves up to make the most of this opportunity.” He called the changes the first update to YouTube’s “core leadership structure” in a decade.
