Vale said its board unanimously approved the choice of Gustavo Pimenta as its next Chief Executive Officer. Pimenta will take office in “due course,” the company said in a filing. Vale‘s current CEO, as well as Pimenta, “continue in their current positions, and the transition process previously disclosed must be followed,” it added.
