In a lawsuit filed by Richard Tornetta, a Tesla shareholder, Delaware Chancery Court Judge Kathaleen McCormick has ruled that Tesla CEO Elon Musk’s pay package of $56B should be voided, CNBC’s Dan Mangan reports. In her opinion, the judge writes that Tesla board of directors “failed that the compensation plan was fair.” Shares of Tesla are down about 3% afterhours at $186.28 following the ruling.
