Tesla has provided an update on the Cybertruck timeline, Fred Lambert of Eletrek reports. Back in 2019, Tesla originally planned to release the Cybertruck at the end of 2021, but this date eventually slipped to the end of 2022 and finally to mid-2023. CEO Elon Musk recently said during its conference call for its Q4 results that, "We do expect production to start, I don’t know, maybe sometime this summer. But I always like try to downplay the start of production because the start of production is always very slow. It increases exponentially, but it’s always very slow at first," according to Eletrek. Vice President of Vehicle Engineering at Tesla Lars Moravy added Tesla is building the production lines, but the production ramp is planned for 2024. Reference Link
