U.S. Senators Sherrod Brown, Raphael Warnock and John Fetterman are encouraging the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau, or CFPB, to monitor the risks posed by “buy now, pay later,” or BNPL, products, which have risen in popularity this holiday season, reported Financial Regulation News’ Dave Kovaleski. BNPL providers include Affirm (AFRM) and Block’s (SQ) Afterpay.
