Proxy advisory firms have recommended different paths for Harley-Davidson (HOG) investors ahead of a shareholder vote on a board-shakeup, John Keilman of The Wall Street Journal reports. ISS said activist investor H Partners has not made a compelling case to remove three members of Harley’s board, each of whom has served for at least 17 years. Glass Lewis, on the other hand, said the directors had “overseen starkly suboptimal shareholder returns,” and removing them was unlikely to create problems.
