Oppenheimer analyst Dominick Gabriele made no change to the firm’s Perform rating on shares of Block following the Hidenburg research report published on Thursday. Oppenheimer, which remains on the sidelines, says parts of the short report echo the firm’s downgrade note, particularly growth longevity in cash app and EBITDA valuation vs. peers, the analyst tells investors in a research note. The firm thinks Block should share special data given the magnitude of these allegations to quell investor fears vs. current response.
