At the NYT’s DealBook event, Nvidia CEO Jensen Huang said the U.S. is 10-20 years from chip independence and reaffirmed Nvidia’s commitment to China, Bloomberg’s Ian King reports. “We are somewhere between a decade and two decades away from supply chain independence,” he said. “It’s not a really practical thing for a decade or two.” Additionally, Huang commented that Nvidia is working on products for China that will not trigger restrictions, “and once we comply with the regulation, we’ll go back to China.”
