Morgan Stanley says delivery restart to China factored into Boeing stock

Morgan Stanley analyst Kristine Liwag notes that “unconfirmed reports” have suggested Boeing is set to restart deliveries of the 787 aircraft to China in the near-term. Juneyao Airlines, a privately owned Chinese carrier, will reportedly be receiving delivery of the aircraft. Reports have also suggested the potential for a re-start of 737 MAX 8 deliveries to China. While these are positive headlines for the stock, the firm sees the benefits from a delivery restart to China largely factored into the stock as consensus expects all inventory aircraft to be delivered by 2026. Morgan Stanley maintains an Equal Weight rating on the shares with a price target of $255.
