Morgan Stanley said "a lot has changed" since Tesla unveiled the Cybertruck in November 2019 and although the firm "had a great time with it last week behind the Austin plant," Morgan Stanley contends that "financially it may be more of a ‘side-show’ to the Tesla story today." From its discussions with clients, the firm feels there may be some room to manage expectations about the significance of the Cybertruck within Tesla’s Master Plan 3, it stated in a note titled "Has Tesla Outgrown the Cybertruck?" Morgan Stanley keeps an Overweight rating and $220 price target on Tesla shares.
