Panos Panay, the chief product officer at Microsoft leading Windows development and the company’s Surface line, is leaving the company, reported The Verge, citing an announcement on Monday that told Microsoft employees “Panos Panay has decided to leave Microsoft” after nearly 20 years at the company. Microsoft’s consumer marketing head, Yusuf Mehdi, will take over leading the Windows and Surface businesses, Emma Roth of The Verge noted.
