McDonald’s is experiencing widespread technology outages at locations in Australia, the U.K., Japan and Hong Kong on Friday, forcing the company to close some of its restaurants, The Wall Street Journal’s Dean Seal reports. A spokesperson said McDonald’s is aware of the computer system outages affecting its restaurants and that the issue has been resolved. McDonald’s said the outage isn’t related to a cybersecurity incident.
