Lockheed Martin awarded $196.54M Navy contract

Lockheed Martin was awarded a $196.54M cost-plus-incentive-fee, cost reimbursable contract. This contract provides for the upgrade of the verification and validation systems being utilized in the U.S. Reprogramming Laboratory; and the Norway Italy Reprogramming Laboratory, in support of aligning with the upgraded Block Two and Five capabilities, as well as automating and accelerating the verification and validation process for mission data files for the F-35 Joint Strike Fighter program. Work is expected to be completed in June 2028. FY23 research, development, test, and evaluation funds in the amount of $8.45M; FY23 research, development, test, and evaluation funds in the amount of $8.45M and non-U.S. Department of Defense participant funds in the amount of $96.32M, will be obligated at the time of award, none of which will expire at the end of the current fiscal year. This contract was not competitively procured pursuant to Federal Acquisition Regulation 6.302-1. The Naval Air Systems Command is the contracting activity.
