Deutsche Bank analyst Corinne Blanchard lowered the firm’s price target on Lithium Americas to $6 from $7 and keeps a Hold rating on the shares. Sentiment towards lithium has been bearish for most of 2023, impacted by continuous declining pricing and geopolitical uncertainties adding a weight on key equities, the analyst tells investors in a research note. The firm believes there is further downside in the near-term, due to usual seasonal impact in Q1 with slow activities in China impacting volumes and pricing.
